    On a recommendation from a friend, I purchased this book. So glad I did. I’ve been plant-based for over a year, started losing weight but then stopped. I thought I was following everything, eating until I’m “comfortably full”, no bread, pretty much no salt and I still couldn’t move that meter on the scale. When I read her book, something caught my attention that I had overlooked – oil! I really didn’t think it mattered if I used a little but apparently it does matter. I started keeping a journal (scary thought), and I used oil and salt more than I thought – way more. So I cut out all the oil, salt, and made sure I read the ingredients like she talks about in the book and to my surprise that needle moved (in the right direction of course)! I had 10 more pounds to go and this helped me get to my goal. I love the charts and especially the substitution list. Man her’s is pretty long and complete. Thank you for all the wonderful and helpful information and a huge thanks for all those great recipes. It made such a difference. I also never knew there was a difference between a plant-based diet and a “whole food plant-based diet”. There is a difference and by taking out the oil, that was key. I noticed you have a new recipe for Baked Mac and Cheddar. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you

    I decided to switch to a WFPB diet because I wasn’t feeling good, was overweight and my heartburn was always bad. I have tried several of the recipes in this cookbook and they were all great!

    Following the guide, I’m finally losing weight and feel so much better now! I never realized how many food allergies I had until I made the switch to a plant-based diet and cut out the food causing my discomfort.

    The book and recipes are easy to follow and the guide on “how” to change your diet really helped. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be healthier and is tired of being sick and tired. I can’t believe how much better I am now.

    WOW! I’m a newbie to this way of eating and I bought this not knowing how good it would be. Ya’all this is great. It far exceeded my expectations – I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. There is so much information inside on exactly what to do, what to eat and what not to eat, how much to eat, how to eat out, handling family (mines a challenge), stocking a pantry and so much more. I just love all the charts and the substitution list is the most complete one I’ve ever seen. The articles in the book are amazing and I feel for the first time I know what to do. I’m not much of a cook but the recipes- oh my goodness- I’m in heaven. I already made a few recipes (I actually did great) and of course started with desserts. The key lime mini pies are to die for. The stroganoff was so good my boyfriend didn’t even know it was plant based. I haven’t made any salads yet and want to make the cranberry quinoa apple salad. I’m definitely buying another one as a gift for Christmas. This is my new best friend. I highly recommend this to everyone. Well worth it for sure.

    This is now my favorite cookbook! It has made moving to a true PBWF lifestyle much easier because it’s so much more than a collection of phenomenally delicious recipes. The book offers everything from tips on stocking your pantry with the healthiest foods and how to make produce last longer (what to refrigerate and what not to refrigerate) to helpful conversion tables, instant pot cooking time suggestions, an entire chapter on healthy substitutions and more. Michelle really thought of everything—and for this novice cook, I need all the tips, tricks and guidance I can get. Love this cookbook and highly recommend it!
